I feel so lucky to have won the WRIF Rock Girl contest! I have been listening to the WRIF since I was a little girl and now I wake up everyday ecstatic that this is my job...I work for the WRIF! Previously to working with the WRIF, I worked at a television station as an account executive for 5 years. Reporting the traffic with Big Daddy and promoting the WRIF at all the exciting events around Detroit is an amazing opportunity and I am having the time of my life!

 

I am an only child and am very close with my parents. They are my heroes and also role models. I look up to them and thank God for the guidance and strong spiritual upbringing that they gave me. Thank you for the support, love and for making me who I am today, mom and dad!
 

When I am not working with the WRIF I am busy hanging with the fam and my friends.  You'll find us wakeboarding, partying at the lake, golfing in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. We also go to the gun range, play cards and video games. I am addicted to Guitar Hero, Dance Dance Revolution and Tiger Woods. I love trying new things and experiencing everything that the world has to offer. I love all sports! I am so happy that I was born in the city with the best sports teams to cheer for: Wings, Pistons, Tigers, and the best fall past time, U of M football! I am still a faithful Lions fan too!

 

I love music, and no matter what I am doing, I always have a rockin' soundtrack playing behind to enhance my life's experiences! Some of my favorites include: Led Zeppelin, Jimmy Hendrix, Sublime, Bob Marley, Kid Rock, Rage, Tool, Buckcherry, Guns N Roses, Poison, Quiet Riot, Whitesnake, Journey (any 80's hairband really), Lynyrd Skynyrd, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Red Hot Chili Peppers...yhe list goes on and on!
