Jack White collaborating with The Rolling Stones? Yes please!

6/30/2012

According to Prefix: Back in 2009, Keith Richards and Jack White got together and recorded a couple of jams...just kind of messing around. Apparently, neither of them even thought about releasing these songs, but now Keith Richards says: "I don't know if [Jack] ever considered that it was actually, like, master cuts," Richards said. "But at the same time if Jack wanted to do it, I'd probably say, 'Yeah.'"

The Rolling Stones ARE celebrating their 50th anniversary this year and there is a possibility of the band releasing some new material to commemorate this occasion...According to Richards, who spoke to Rolling Stone about this...it could very well involve Jack White!

He says: "I'm trying to gather the boys together," he tells Rolling Stone. "One way or another, I'll get them back in line."

And about working with Jack he adds: "I enjoy working with Jack," Richards says. "We've done a couple of tracks....I couldn't fuel that rumor any more than to say Jack and I are in touch," says Richards.

Are you excited for this? Or are you afraid? (...very, very afraid...as in Jack White and ICP collaboration afraid)
