  • Rockstat Energy Uproar Fest!

Last week the Rockstar Energy Uproar festival kicked off right here in Michigan! Thursday the WRIF crew and lucky listeners were invited to the pre-festival kick off party featuring acoustic performances and a meet-and-great with Seether, Pop Evil, Skillet, and Godsmack! The acoustic performances were all amazing! It was SO COOL to see those bands in such a stripped and personal setting. You can see videos of all the performances right here at wrif.com! Read More
  • Motley Crue

Motley Crue and Alice Cooper hit the DTE stage last saturday for a sold out show! 15,000 fans gathered to watch the first of two scheduled "farewell shows" the Crue has planned for the Motor City. The second of which is November 8th at Joe Louis Arena. Both bands dazzled fans, as usual, with amazing theatrical performances, by Alice, and an explosive pyro show, from Motley Crue. Will their November show be the last we see of Motley? It would be hard to imagine the band finally calling it quits... but I guess we'll find out! Come out this weekend to the Woodward Dream Cruise at Woodward and 13 Mile and you'll have a chance to win tickets for the show in November! Read More
  • Soundgarden/NIN

Saturday was the Soundgarden and Nine Inch Nails show at DTE! I was so excited to go because I haven't seen either band live before and I have heard good things about their live performances. It was by far one of the best shows that I have ever been to! Soundgarden sounded amazing live! Then Nine Inch Nails had the coolest light show I've ever seen! If you didn't get a chance to see them Saturday, I highly recommend you see them next time they roll through town! It's a concert you won't forget! Read More
