When Fred Durst rose to fame as a member of Limp Bizkit in the ‘90s, there’s no doubt that his life got pretty interesting.
Now, TVGuide.com is reporting that Durst wants to bring his story to television, in the form of a CW drama based upon his own experiences.
TV Guide writes that the show, which is set to be called ‘The Noise,’ “chronicles the rise of a young artist in the 1990s who escapes a tumultuous home life and forms a wildly popular band with a unique sound.”
But this certainly isn’t Durst’s first crack at the small screen. The singer has credits as a director, actor and producer, and also tried to launch a semi-autobiographical sitcom called Douchebag on CBS back in 2011, though the show was not picked up by the network.
Meanwhile, Limp Bizkit in the midst of a European tour, with dates scheduled from now all the way through February.
