Eddie Van Halen: Rock and Roll legend, guitar aficionado, and friend to the animals.
The Van Halen rocker recently proved the last credential by donating two personal items for an upcoming auction put on by the charity Last Chance for Animals; a non-profit organization dedicated to animal rights.
According to the Van Halen News Desk, the guitarist contributed an EVH Stripes Series guitar, which he signed on the head stock and body, as well as a personalized hockey jersey, both of which will be available to the highest bidder.
The auction is a part of an event being held for Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen, who LCA is honoring as “Vegan of the Year” on Saturday (October 26) in Los Angeles, CA.
