Continuing on the trend of slowly revealing each track from their upcoming album Hesitation Marks, Nine Inch Nails has unveiled yet another song!
“Find My Way” dropped yesterday (August 22) courtesy of the BBC, and though the band has been playing it during their live shows this summer, this is the first time the studio version of the song has been heard.
Other tracks that have surfaced ahead of Hesitation Marks’ September 3 release date have included “Copy of A,” “Came Back Haunted,” “Disappointed” and most recently, “Everything.”
In recent interview with The Guardian, Trent Reznor said of writing the album, “What I found the most inspiring was sitting with just a drum machine in my bedroom, in my office. Not having a keyboard or a guitar and playing everything on pads. Me sitting alone with literally one piece of gear just messing around, I found it exciting. It lent to the minimal edge, because it didn't feel like it needed more.”
Reznor and the newly reformed NIN will hit the road following the release of Hesitation Marks for an arena tour that kicks off on September 28 in St. Paul, MN.
