Avenged Sevenfold shared yet another teaser video this week, priming fans for their forthcoming summer album release on the band’s Facebook page.
This particular video clue—No. 13 in a series of teasers for the group’s upcoming LP—features a 30-second audio snippet from one of A7X’s new Mike Elizondo-produced songs, set to live concert footage of the band’s devoted fans.
The yet-to-be-named successor to their Nightmare LP, which topped the charts in 2010, will be the first from Avenged Sevenfold without the contribution from key songwriter and drummer James “The Rev” Sullivan,” who died in December 2009.
On top of dropping a new album, A7X is set to hit a number of rock festivals this summer, including July 17th’s Rock USA with Buckcherry and Saliva, and KISW’s Pain in the Grass with Alice in Chains and Jane’s Addiction in September. A complete list of the band’s official tour dates can be found here.
After finishing up their U.S. tour alongside Korn, Shinedown, Megadeth and Papa Roach at Monster Energy Aftershock in Sacramento in September, Avenged Sevenfold will head across seas until December for a European tour.
Since the Orange County-based rockers have yet to announce an official release date for their upcoming album, we can only imagine how antsy these teasers are making A7X fans.
