Guns N' Roses has gone from retirement rumors to having more new music than it knows what to do with.
In a new interview with Revolver magazine, Axl Rose says that the group has not only finished a follow-up to "Chinese Democracy" but is also planning a remix album of songs from that album. Rose says that, "We recorded a lot of things before 'Chinese' was out. We've worked more on some of those things and we've written a few new things. But basically, we have what I call kind of the second half of 'Chinese' that's already recorded."
Rose also said the remix album has "been done for awhile, too." He did not, however, reveal when either of those sets would be released.
GNR is currently on a break to allow its members to pursue other projects, though "Appetite for Democracy 3D: Live From the Hard Rock Casino" from the group`s November 2012 residency in Las Vegas will be released July 1 on DVD and Blu-ray with theatrical screenings preceding it.
