Despite all of the hoopla surrounding KISS, their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction and whether or not they would actually play the induction ceremony, it looks like at least one member of the band is set to perform tomorrow night. Speaking to Fuse in an exclusive interview, Ace Frehley has confirmed that he will take part in the traditional “All-Star Jam” that closes the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Ace said that Rage Against The Machine and current E-Street Band guitarist Tom Morello gave him a call to see if he was interested, and Ace was all in. All of the drama was started when the Rock Hall said they were only inducting the original KISS lineup and wanted them to perform the induction ceremony in full makeup. Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons were not having any of this and insisted that current KISS members Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer not only be inducted but perform at the ceremony, instead of Ace and original drummer Peter Criss. Lots of other insults were thrown in the past few months, so much so that it’s almost too exhausting to recount EVERY single one. It’s to the point now that many people (this writer included) are more excited for the Rock Hall ceremony tomorrow night just so all of this KISS mess will be over.
