Courtney Love on Hole Reunion, Nirvana’s Rock Hall Induction

LAS VEGAS, NV - AUGUST 22: Recording artist Courtney Love prepares to throw a flower into the crowd as she performs at Vinyl inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino during the venue's anniversary celebration on August 22, 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
It looks like Courtney Love spoke too soon on reunion plans for her band Hole.

In an interview with U.K.’s Telegraph, Love says that “the band are all flipping out with me” and that now that everything has gone public about a reunion “nothing might happen.”

Regardless of the whether the reunion happens, Love still will play seven shows in U.K. starting in May, and she will also be in attendance with daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony to speak on behalf of the late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain.

Love says that while she isn’t being inducted, she feels an obligation to be present with Frances, because “it’s what widows and kids do.”

Unsurprisingly, Love doesn’t mince words toward Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic saying her attending the Rock Hall ceremony “does give me ownership of the mythology, rather than just handing over to Krist and Dave their (Nirvana’s) ownership.”

While KISS has been dominating headlines regarding their induction into the Rock Hall, I think many have forgotten the potential fireworks that could occur during Nirvana’s Rock Hall moment.  If there’s one thing we all know, it’s this:  Courtney Love is definitely not afraid of making a scene.
