Thank you Detroit for choosing me to be your 2008
WRIF Rock Girl! I feel so privileged to have won the
contest and get the opportunity to work with the
WRIF! This will be such an amazing experience – I
get to work side by side with the legendary Arthur
P, meet and greet rock music’s greatest, and
represent Detroit’s number one rock station…the
WRIF!!
I absolutely love music – any genre…rock being my
favorite of course…I always have my speakers cranked
up to get me through the day. My favorite artists
are… Audioslave, STP, Shinedown, Metallica,
Sevendust, Linkin Park, Soundgarden, Bad Religion,
The Doors, Ozzy, Alice in Chains, Chili Peppers,
Rage, GNR, Greenday, Zeppelin, Disturbed, Lynyrd
Skynyrd, Nirvana, Incubus, Thrice, Against Me,
Offspring, Pink Floyd…..just to list a few!!!
My hometown is St. Clair Shores, where you can find
me living it up on the Nautical Mile, at the park
with my two dogs, Kelly and Chewy, or boating on the
lake in the summer.
Originally from Florida, I moved to Michigan over
three years ago to invest in real estate. I co-own a
small investment company – we buy properties to
rehabilitate and either sell or rent them.
I am so fortunate to have come to Michigan! Besides
working with the WRIF, I have danced for the Detroit
Pistons – Automotion, and the Detroit Ignition – The
Spark. As a professional dancer, I also work for a
local production company, performing at MGM Grand
and Motorcity casinos.
But don’t let the blonde hair and heels deceive
you.. I am a total tomboy and adrenaline junkie! I
ride a Yamaha R6 and I’m working towards getting my
racing license. I hope to compete in a national
motorcycle race within the next few years! Some
other hobbies of mine are snowboarding, rock
climbing, jet skiing, playing poker, and scrap
booking…a little more low key! I am also a sports
fanatic! I’m a huge Pistons fan, I love the Wings,
and you can always catch me at either a Tigers or
Lions game! But Moto GP is still my favorite sport!
I can’t wait to embark on this amazing year ahead!
